Tony moly: Hello bunny perfume bar yellow + pink ♡

Hello lovelies! Today I'd like to show you these adorable bunny perfume bars made by Tony Moly. I was really interested in trying these because they're solid fragrances, making them a lot more convenient to carry around! I bought these in Bebe Powder (yellow) + Dodo Rose (pink) - the other colours had sad / angry faces so i didn't want to get those. :{

Bebe Powder

Top Note: Bergamot + Orange (Citrus)

Middle Note: Rose, Orchid, Oris + Violet (Floral)

Base Note: Musk + Vanilla (Musk Woody)

Dodo Rose

Top Note: Ginger, Bergamot + Grapefruit (Fresh)

Middle Note: Apricot, Peach + Neroli (Floral)

Base Note: White Musk (Fruity)

Oh my, isn't the packaging just so cute? Each bar has a little bunny head with a different colour, scent + expression. The head is actually a lid + comes off to reveal the bar of fragrance inside. It contains a lot of product and when you twist it the bar comes out like a lipstick. It comes with an inside lid for hygiene + to prevent product-smoosh! The scents are very sweet but subtle (the Dodo Rose more so). The names are self-explanatory - the Bebe Powder is a soft baby powder type of scent + the Dodo Rose is a more elegant, mature floral smell. I really recommend these for first-time perfume users or those who don't like a strong scent. I think they need to be re-applied every few hours though. The bars are super-easy to use - just rub on wrists, neck and behind the ears. They leave skin feeling smooth. Overall, very lovely perfumes with adorable packaging at a great price!

Tony moly cats wink shiny skin base: Clear lavender ♡

I was really impressed with the Tony Moly Cats Wink Shiny Skin BB Cream so I decided to give the base in the same range a go! I chose the clear lavender option to counteract the yellow tones in my skin.

Available in 3 types, each targeting a specific concern:

1 Clear Peach - all skin types

2 Clear Mint - corrects redness caused from blemishes or irritation

3 Clear Lavender - tones down yellow-ness in skin

Free of dyes, benzophenone, petroleum, mineral oil and triethanolamine."

To be honest I was a little disappointed with this base. As the name suggests, the base is a light lavender in colour which does neutralise the yellow to an extent. It also helps BB creams last longer. However, the colour is hard to blend into the skin and leaves the skin sticky rather than smooth. The base has an unpleasant chemical smell to it also. I wouldn't recommend this for darker skin tones.

Hello kittens! I just wanted to share what I thought about this Tony Moly Cats Wink BB Cream because I've heard many good things about it - and let's face it, who wouldn't love the cute kitty packaging? >w<

Although this BB cream is only offered in one shade, I believe it will suit many different fair-medium skin tones. It comes in a squeezy tube that is easy to carry around and the product doesn't spill everywhere when you open it. The coverage is a little lighter than some other Asian BB creams I've tried - it's harder to cover up blemishes, but it is also easier to blend into your skin. The texture is soft and silky and doesn't feel like you're putting on a mask. I feel like it doesn't have a whitening effect, but it does look really natural and doesn't leave a grey cast. Some things I didn't like is that it doesn't cover up fine lines and pores very well, and I would also have preferred a higher sun protection than SPF25. Despite these little hiccups, I would probably buy this again!
